TR1  Tachometer Relay

View datasheet

Monitor the speed of machinery
Over or under speed detection
250 - 10000 revs/minute
Proximity sensor or switch input
Variable "start up" delay
48 x 48 mm DIN panel mounting or plug in case
8 Amp single pole relay output
Voltages from 14-35  VDC & 115 and 240 VAC
12VDC output for powering sensors
Standard 11 pin plug in base

Mode of Operation:     The TR1 controller is designed to monitor rotating machinery and to give an alarm output (relay changing state) when the speed of the machine drops below or exceeds the set value which can be in the range of 250 to 10000 pulses per minute. When powered up the internal relay energises and the start up delay time period starts. This enables machinery to reach operating speed before monitoring starts. An input signal, usually from a proximity sensor, is generated as the machine rotates. If the rate of input pulses drops below the set point the relay will de-energise.  The TR1 works in the opposite sense with the relay energised below set point and de-energised above.
