Mode of Operation:The
TR1 controller is designed to monitor rotating machinery and to give an alarm
output (relay changing state) when the speed of the machine drops below or
exceeds the set value which can be in the range of 250 to 10000 pulses per
minute. When powered up the internal relay energises and the start up delay time period starts.
This enables machinery to reach operating speed before monitoring starts. An input signal, usually from a proximity sensor, is generated as the machine
rotates. If the rate of input pulses drops below the set point the relay will
de-energise. The TR1 works in the opposite sense with the relay energised
below set point and de-energised above.
