CT8 Series Contact Hand Tachometer & Length Counter

The CT8 Contact Tachometers are available in three models, one Standard type or a choice of two with Heavy Duty surface wheels, all models cover a wide speed range from 3 rpm or 0.3 metres/min.

Model CT8 is ideal for both rpm and linear rate applications over a wide speed range.

Models CT8/9109 and CT8/9110 are especially made for heavier duty industries such as the Paper Mills & Process plants where linear rate only is required.

All models have a count mode for length measurement applications

A range of accessories can be added to extend the versatility of these products, including an external input for remote optical sensors.

Additional Information Signal Output
The CT8 series can also measure extremely slow speeds in the Cycle Time mode by measuring the reciprocal rate i.e. Seconds/Metre to 9999 sec/Metre ( or Feet and revolutions)
Linear Length can also be measured in the Count mode (to +/- 10cm)

Remote Optical Sensors may be used with this instrument to extend its versatility.
Please note: Heavy Duty versions cannot measure rpm unless used with a remote Optical Sensor for non-contact measurement or a standard Contact Adaptor LSAB-2 for Contact rpm measurement which fits the Optical Sensor
