DS Multiranger Series 5 Digit Panel Tachometers

The DS Multiranger series instruments function as Digital Ratemeters, Counters, Timers or as user scaleable Digital Voltmeters when fitted with analogue input modules. Designed primarily for pulse related parameter measurement, such as speed monitoring, this versatile indicator includes additional features of 8 digit Count & Timer & a DVM option with single or dual trip alarm features. With full user scaling features, the instruments can be calibrated to read virtually any displayed value from any input pulse rate with the instruments input frequency range. The optional analogue output can be calibrated by the user to read any full scale value for any input voltage within the instruments range, there are two trip options, single or dual level, both levels independent of each other. An RS232 serial interface module is also optionally available providing a very comprehensive and versatile product for both retrospective installations and new OEM applications. All scaling functions are externally accessible for the convenience of the user. This series of Digital instruments are ideal for displaying both pulse related measurements with input frequencies between 0.01 and 12,000 Hz or analogue DC voltage related parameters between 0-10vdc. Additional Information Signal Output These very versatile and easy programmable DIN cased instruments are available with a variety of factory fitted standard modules. Special needs can be supplied, including changes to standard software, hardware or if volume is sufficient, a completely new design can be produced, including re-housing the electronics to fit our client's specific enclosures. As designers and manufacturers we are always pleased to look into producing customised products to suit a particular specification. All models are supplied with our in-house produced traceable Certificate of Calibration. Also available with optional independent UKAS Certificate of Calibration at extra cost. Pulse Output feature - Standard on all models Factory fitted module options Analogue Input module - This module converts the instrument into a very versatile 5 digit DVM instrument. Signal input range is 0-10 vdc. This can be digitally User scaled to display any related engineering value. Analogue Output module This module provides a DC voltage or current output from a Pulse Input signal, ideal for data logging applications. Available in three options, 0-10 vdc, 0-20mA or 4-20mA. This output is User scaleable externally through the built-in Digital & Analogue scaling features. RS232 Output module This module provides a Serial output of the displayed value. Trip Alarm modules - A built in Dual Trip module is available, (with this option the case size is 96 x 96mm). The dual Trip modules can be set independently to rising or falling values. A single Trip version is also available.
