MiniVLS nL Series Optical Speed Sensors

These Sensors are primarily designed for rpm and phase related rotational speed applications, including very high speed monitoring & machine shaft balancing, they are available with either Laser or Red LED light sources. The MiniVLS nL Sensors are designed for use in hazardous areas with certified hazardous area equipment. Ideally suited for Condition Monitoring Data Collectors and machine shaft Balancing applications these sensors give excellent Phase performance with highly repeatable results. Engineered for easy mounting in either a Proximity Sensor style threaded housing with two lock nuts supplied or in Plain housing versions, an optional mounting bracket is available with tripod fixing option. Ideal for permanent fixing or hand held applications. Condition Monitoring Applications Ideal where phase & speed monitoring is required in vibration monitoring & balancing applications on rotating machinery . Optical Ranges Laser models operate up to 2 metres and LED versions up to 1 metre from a reflective marker. Power Requirements 5Vdc (4- 5.5Vdc) @ nominally 30mA.
