General Description

A very versatile high light output (6600 lux) mains powered Stroboscope is designed for continuous operation over a very wide frequency range.

The Beta Stroboscope is similar to the Alpha with several enhancements and key application features, including very stable digital flash frequency control, automatic range selection, internal/external triggering, phase shift facilities, bench or panel mounting option and a remote hand lamp unit with tripod or bracket mounting facility.

The instrument has user selectable mains voltage 110-230vac via a rear mounted switch, it has a rugged aluminium housing with carry handle, ideal for bench or permanently installed as an inspection device, it has a digital display of flash rate in both fpm & milliseconds, a phase shift indication in degrees over the range 0 -540 deg.

This Beta Professional Stroboscope is ideal for general purpose test & inspection use, quality control applications and scientific research & professional photographic applications.

The Beta has integral & external frequency control facilities, be automatically externally triggered via a Sensor or control signal from external machine control systems and can display both rate & phase angle.

The integral digitised frequency control provides precise manual setting of flash rate and phase angle in degrees, yet gives very rapid response to changes in rate over the whole frequency range with automatic range selection.

The Beta Stroboscope is ideal for general test work, scientific experimental applications and professional photographic requirements. It can also provide permanent machine installation for applications such as Labelling machinery, bottling plant, centrifuges and similar applications where continuous observation of machinery operations is essential.
Other typical uses are as a diagnostic tool for location of machine faults due to wear etc and machine Balancing requirements.
