General Description

A very rugged general purpose mains powered portable Stroboscope designed for continuous operation over a very wide frequency range.

The DT-311 Stroboscope has several key application features, including very stable digital flash frequency control, flash rate multiplier, phase shift for slow motion observation, slave control, several mounting options, with a removable pistol grip for easy torch like use or bench and tripod mounting.

The instrument is mains 230vac powered and it is compact in size, yet extremely versatile as either a portable or permanently installed inspection device.

This DT-311 Professional Stroboscope is ideal for both general purpose use and Condition monitoring applications, for example, quality control of labelling machinery, machine motion monitoring, fault diagnosis and location of faulty operations on packaging & bottling machinery and Condition Monitoring requirements and machine Balancing applications.

The DT-311 has integral frequency control and it can also be automatically externally triggered via a Sensor or control signal from external machine control systems.

The DT-311 can also be used to trigger external equipment, such as Balancing systems or via the integral digitised frequency control provides precise manual setting of flash rate and yet gives very rapid response to changes in rate over the whole frequency range, the frequency multiply/divide feature provides rapid tracking of machine rate.

The DT-311 Stroboscope is ideal for permanent machine installation for applications such as Labelling machinery, bottling plant, centrifuges and similar applications where continuous observation of machinery operations is essential. Other typical uses are as a diagnostic tool for location of machine faults due to wear, shaft out of balance, Balancing systems input, machine commissioning on most rotating and reciprocating machinery.
