A new & improved range of DC capacitive switches
Proxistor have launched a new range of capacitive switches after significant investment in mechnical design, electronic development and new mould tooling. New features have been added in response to market feedback. The new range are even more mechanically robust, better sealed against water ingress and more electrically stable than the market proven range proxistor has been successfully supplying internationally for many years. The company is not stopping here, there is much more to come. If you have a problem with your current capacitive supplier , Proxistor is your solution. 		New 20mm smooth Ø in cable & plug types New 34mm Ø plug type Smooth 20mm diameter housings reduce dirt buildup on smaller range applications. 12mm nominal range compares well to 10mm on threaded M18s. A new connector in the 40mm range 34mm smooth housing adds convenience to this long range standard switch.
		No more cover screw You can now set-up and, if needed, adjust your switch with a standard electricians screwdriver. No need to remove a cover screw or reduce sealing integrity in any way. The adjuster shaft is o-ring sealed to IP67.
		22 Turn potentiometer makes easy adjustment A 22 turn pot allows fine setting up for example if you need to detect very low dielectric targets through a sight glass or window or if detecting small changes in target material moisture levels.
		LED’s protected behind windows To guard against accidental damage, "switch state" LEDs (and "power on" on plug versions) are now protected behind a window.
		Improved cable entry & stress relief The new cable entry feature (across all sizes) greatly exceeding the pull test requirements for proximity switches. While giving excellent mechanical integrity it also reduces the likelihood of damage to the cable or sensor in flexing situations or via user abuse.
		IP67 sealingThe double o-ring sealed adjuster, robust cable entry, and protective LED windows mean that Proxistor DC capacitives are better mechanically sealed than ever before.
		Clean thread starts on M30 & M18 New mould tooling with revised injection points has provided thread starts on M18 and M30 versions as clean as a machined metal part.
		Lower profile end cap shortens lengthMore compact end cap means less space required on your machinery.
