Datasheets |
(top) |
When
you have selected a product or group of products using the links,
clicking the
button the first time will open a new browser window and load a
datasheet in Adobe Acrobat portable document format (pdf).
These datasheets are typically 70-110Kb and include a picture of
the sensor, dimensional drawings, full electrical specifications and
connection details. The pdf format allows you to preview, zoom in, copy
and paste text or graphics onto your specification sheets and or print
hard copies. (see notes on "downloading and browser cache"
below)
You need "Adobe Acrobat Reader" installed on your PC to
view datasheets from the website. Click the button to get your free
copy.
If you have a slow modem connection you can request our CD
containing the website which is much faster loading. The CD includes a
free copy of the Reader..
To view further datasheets on-line, swop back to the main site
browser window (use ALT-TAB or your program bar at the bottom of your
screen) and click the next button.
Your second datasheet will load into your second browser window,
(use ALT-TAB or your program bar to switch from one window to
another). |

| Downloading and
browser cache. |
(top) |
Experienced
internet users will know that local copies of files downloaded from the
internet are stored on the hard disk of your computer.
It is no different with Adobe Acrobat pdf files.
Once you have clicked the link to one of our datasheets and it has
loaded into the second window you will also have a copy of that file in
the cache of your web browser.
You can make
this datasheet (or sheets) permanently available offline by copying from
your cache and saving in a different directory on your hard disk. (do it
quickly as many browsers regularly clean out their cache files which are
often limited to a maximum size. Furthermore you may not be able to find
the file if you visit many other sites.)
For users of Microsoft Internet Explorer 5, select "tools",
"internet options", "settings", "view files",
the datasheet file should be near the top of your list and may be
identified as an Adobe Acrobat Reader file. Simply highlight the file,
click your right mouse button copy and paste the file into a suitable
directory. |

| I don't want to
install software for datasheets! |

|
If you do not want to install acrobat, but do want a datasheet, we can
fax it to you or mail you our CD containing the reader and datasheets.
Either call the sales office or complete the
email form on-line to
request information in this or a different format. |
